Grandstaff - Lewis

Mt. Zion news -- Henry Grandstaff of Lafayette came to Dave Duncan’s Friday to make arrangements for his brother’s funeral, Lewis Grandstaff.
Lewis Granstaff living near Crawfordsville died Thursday afternoon, March 4 at 5 p.m. His funeral was held at Mt. Zion Saturday at 11:30 conducted by Rev. Antrobus of Crawfordsville. Mr. Grandstaff was about 57 years of age. He has been afflicted for quite awhile with cancer of the stomach. He leaves five children, his companion dying several years ago. He has many relatives and friends in this community at one time a resident. He is a brother-in-law of David Duncan, marrying his sister, Alice Duncan.
